About me.
I am a clinical psychologist, certified psychotherapist (CBT) and associate professor at UiT – The Arctic University of Norway. I also hold an affiliation at Charité Berlin, where I earned my doctoral degree in Theoretical Medicine (Dr. rer. medic.).
I am passionate about conducting interdisciplinary research with a relevance for people living with mental illness, letting my research be informed by my almost ten years of clinical experience of working with individuals with serious mental illness. My research so far has mainly contributed to the validation and critical evaluation of NLP methods in psychosis as well as the understanding of challenges and opportunities in the lives and treatment of vulnerable groups, such as older adults with mental illness. I collaborate with many researchers across Germany and worldwide.
